Kid Cudi is on the cover of Complex Magazine’s latest issue. Hands down, he’s gotta be one of the coolest and most stylish dudes in the music industry right now and thus, it is very fitting that they have chosen Cudi to be on the cover of their STYLE & DESIGN issue. Weekend Recap

Sometimes you just gotta take advantage of the beautiful weather. So even though I still wasn’t feeling the best, Dirty Doobz, Jimbo Jones and myself went out to a local skate park and decided to make the best out of the day. Doobz is the only one out of the three of us who actually skates in real life so Jimbo and I decided to make ourselves useful and capture the action with some top-notch photos. If you scroll further down you’ll see the fruits of our labour haha! But more on that later …

Anyways, according to Doobz the skate park is pretty much one of the crappiest he’s been to so we decided to leave after an hour of attempting to get a proper run. We headed on down to the City to take care of some business. This is all classified information so I can’t really say much but you can expect big things out of TAKEN in the near future. We’ve got a few collabos in the works that are set to blow your minds. Afterwards, we took a stroll down to hit up some of Sydney’s finest streetwear shops and caught up with their crew. All the shops down here in Sydney show mad love everytime we roll around so it’s always all good.

After hitting the shops, we grabbed some lunch and headed back home. But not after picking up some proddy along the way haha. Doobz grabbed himself a Juxtapoz tee from Sydney’s premier skateshop, 99 Degrees, and I took home another OF Chum Key Ring and also finally found the matte black G-Shock I posted up a few weeks back. It turned out to be a good day to be out and about.

Under The Weather

So I stayed home today and I’m gonna be staying home tomorrow as well because I caught the flu – again! I was sick a couple of weeks ago and for some reason it just keeps going around in circles. Maybe they should start gathering everyone up and putting them in quarantine. Just a thought …

However, the best thing about being sick is you get to stay home and do whatever you want. Even though there’s only so much you can do. I finished the entire SERIES of The Wire (not a season – a SERIES!). I gotta say, it’s pretty much the best show ever. It’s realism is straight out the gutter and the show doesn’t hold anything back. I can’t even pick a favourite moment or character from the show because honestly, there are just so many. I just wish the show was still on air.

The other good thing about staying at home is that I get to watch out for my online orders. Normally this task fell on my little brother’s shoulders but since I was home all day, I got to personally receive the shipments. So far, I’ve received the Air Jordan III True Blues, McQueen Merlot (Clae), a black and a white Original Fake Chum Key Ring (Supply), and a couple of Black Scale tees (The Heist). Now I’m just waiting on a HALFSLEEVE logo tee courtesy of their store, a Mishka snapback and a Triumvir tee from the crew over at FreshIn. Hopefully they’ll arrive in my mail tomorrow and make me feel all better from this goddamn flu.

I never usually say this (actually, if you know me, I would NEVER say this) but I want winter to go away already and for summer to come back. I feel like I haven’t seen the sun in years. We can thank Sydney’s weather for that. Oh well … here’s to hoping I get better come this weekend. Got a few things poppin’ that I really don’t wanna miss out on. Stay tuned.

Meister + Fatlace

For Fatlace’s 10th Anniversary, they hooked up with Meister – the timepiece giants – and created the CMGK watch. CMGK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Green and Black … the colours that represent the brand itself.

The CMGK timepiece features a 43mm wide watchcase, 3-hand chronogrpah Japanese movement with a signature butterfly buckle. Each watch is individually numbered and limited to 100 pieces. It also features a stainless steel inner case and a plastic strap. Available now from Fatlace.
